Context
Persevere Now runs a B2B platform serving instructional and operational workflows. The product team needed clearer roadmap ownership, faster onboarding improvements, and playbooks for integrations and configuration.
Problem
Onboarding drop-off was hurting activation. The backlog spanned multiple years without a consistent PO cadence. Platform ops, data analysts, and instructional staff needed one delivery rhythm and CEO-visible metrics.
My role
Led product roadmap and Scrum backlog while managing 14 direct reports across platform ops, data analysts, and instructional staff — people leadership plus hands-on delivery ownership.
Approach
- Ran multi-year Jira backlog and sprint delivery as product owner
- Designed and ran A/B tests on onboarding flows; iterated from usage data
- Reported platform metrics to the CEO on a regular cadence
- Wrote SOPs for onboarding, integrations, and configuration
- Increased platform capacity through process and staffing coordination
Outcome
Onboarding drop-off reduced through data-informed A/B iterations. Delivery cadence stabilized with a groomed backlog and playbooks that outlasted individual projects. Leadership had consistent metrics instead of anecdotal updates.
